Director of Quality Assurance - EMS
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Vice President – Quality

Education, Experience & Skills
1. Degree holder in any technical discipline, Advanced Degree Desirable
2. At least 10 years of working experience in EMS or semiconductor field experience in which at least 5 years in management level.
3. Has had experience managing Managers
4. Demonstrated Leadership, Communications (English & Chinese), Planning, Execution and Follow-Up skills.
5.Concept in quality management, e.g. Corrective & Preventive Actions, Hoshin Planning (policy deployment), Process Measurement, Industrial Statistics (SPC), QMS & EMS 6 sigma knowledge & experience desirable

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for establishing & administering quality policies and system for EMS operations in Shanghai, Qingdao & Shenzhen Plants.
2. Key point-of-contact between Customers, Field Sales & Manufacturing for Quality Issues
3. Lead efforts to Understand and Minimize the Cost of Poor Quality
First Pass Yield (Rolled Throughput Yield)
Scrap
Efficiency
Customer Returns
4. Participate / represent the Quality function in the resolution of Customer Return Material Authorization’s (or RMA process).
5. Introduce, Lead and guide the development and execution of quality programs.
6. Coordinate with other function managers in planning and implementing quality programs
7. Manage and develop staff (Quality Department & Factory Wide)
8. Manage and execute quality programs that lead to improvements in quality, costs and overall efficiency.
9. Review external complaints for the purpose of developing appropriate quality policies and standards.
10. Advise management on the overall quality standard of products.
11. Significant travel and some international is required.
12. Based in our plant in PRC.
